1/7Aletsch Glacier, Switzerland. August 2341. The ice is almost gone. A dig team is here to see what it was hiding.

2/7Day 3. The drill hits something that is not rock. The something knocks back.

3/7Day 4. 2.3 kilometres in. Three faces in the ice. The team votes to keep digging. Two to one. The one quits.

A private holding company in Salt Lake City, Utah. Run by people, allegedly. Also by three creatures who do not understand money and are very good at it.

No outside capital. No fund. What it holds is its business. The timeline stays long. About three hundred years, give or take.
